What drives the cost for a boiler company
Four things decide which plan fits:
- How many markets you serve. One city is simpler than a region with several towns, each with its own competitors.
- Residential, commercial or both. Commercial plant work has different buyers and longer sales cycles, and usually needs its own pages and campaigns.
- How competitive your area is. Ranking for boiler replacement in a large city takes more content and more time than in a small town.
- How fast you need calls. Paid search adds speed, and the budget you give Google sits on top of the plan fee.
A worked example
Here's a way to test the numbers yourself. Suppose your average boiler replacement brings in $9,000 and your gross margin on it is 35%, or $3,150 per job.
On the Starter plan at $2,998 a month, you'd need roughly one extra replacement a month to cover the fee from margin alone. On Growth at $4,498, about one and a half. That ignores service work, maintenance agreements and referrals, which usually add to the value of each new customer.
These are illustrative figures. Use your own average ticket and margin. If the maths doesn't work for your company, we'll say so.
How to choose
- Starter suits a smaller boiler company in one market that needs the basics done properly: a good site, a strong Google profile and simple ads.
- Growth suits companies ready to compete harder, with regular content, broader ads and review generation.
- Elite suits multi-market or commercial-heavy businesses that want video, PR, a dedicated manager and frequent strategy time.
If you're unsure, start with the free trial. The audit will show which gaps cost you most, and that usually points to the right plan. Our services page explains what each kind of work involves.
Costs outside the plan fee
Two costs sit outside the plan price and are worth budgeting for. The first is ad spend paid directly to Google or Meta, agreed with you in advance. The second is your own time: approvals, photos from jobs and answering a few questions each month.
What's confirmed in writing
Contract length, cancellation terms, ownership of the website and accounts, and how ad spend is handled are all set out in your written proposal. We don't make claims about terms here that aren't in that document. Read it, ask questions, and sign only when it's clear. Common questions are answered on the FAQ page.
When you're ready, contact us. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.
We are a marketing and business consulting service for boiler and heating companies, not a contractor.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a contract?
Your proposal sets out the term and cancellation conditions in writing before you sign. Ask us to confirm anything that matters to you, and don't sign until it's clear.
Is Google ad spend included?
Plan fees cover our work. Ad spend paid to Google or Meta is agreed separately in your proposal.
What does the free trial include?
A week-long review of your current marketing, website speed and usability, search position and local competitors, with no card needed to start.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and boiler companies add their province's GST or HST, or GST and QST in Quebec.
